The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), whose Employee Rights Poster must be on display in almost every American business by April 30, also is planning to launch a Web site to explain to non-union workers their rights under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), upon which the new poster is modeled.

The announcement came on the heels of a District Court decision giving the green light to the board and its mandatory Employee Rights Poster.

As a supplement to the website, the NLRB also plans to distribute educational brochures containing examples of issues that have arisen in past and current cases before the NLRB. The brochures, which will be offered in English and Spanish, will be distributed through advocacy groups and other federal agencies, such as the Department of Labor (DOL).

Employers, if you don't have your Employee Rights Poster yet, you can get yours here on the Personnel Concepts Web site.
